maybe you will have a girl tonight.

i think that lazy line painter jane is one of my favorite belle and sebastian songs ever, if not one of my favorite songs in general ever. it makes me regret never learning how to play the organ and it makes me think of warm summer nights and it's just good times all around. i also like every goddamned song off of "the life pursuit" and will one day be scottish and write songs about playing football and buying cocaine and various other quaint topics. fantastic.

i have a feeling i will be talking about music in here a lot. c'est la vie.

my cousin heather was in town this weekend. among many other things, we went to ikea. i already knew i loved sweden, but i'll say it again. i love sweden. so many good things come from there. it is one of my many, many life goals to move to stockholm one day. every photograph of me will feature me in a scarf, i suspect. and pigtails, because apparently every girl in sweden is supposed to look like maria. god i love that comic. she's doing a fundraising drive for the next two weeks and every donation over twenty bucks gets a hand-drawn sketch and i want one so bad but i've already spent like $55 over the past month or so on art and i really shouldn't spend anymore. sigh. we'll just have to see.

and now i'm off to read historical fiction about ancient crete. hott.

Dude. Don't be silly. Art is always worth it.
Ikea is awesome! There was this really old MAD magazine article thats whole premise was "Ikea product or bodily function noise?" It was great.
