i re-discovered soma fm's indie pop rocks station and it has been making my days so much better! they just played sondre lerche, now they're playing beulah, and now i feel like i'm in some independent movie. it's awesome. i found a lot of good bands through this station in high school so i owe them a lot. thanks, somafm!
life is getting better! my mom is feeling a lot better, and the mrsa is pretty much gone! i am so, so happy that this ended up being a lot less dramatic and awful than usual, you have no idea. i'm hoping that she just never gets sick again because she seriously deserves to just be well forever. but yeah, big yay for that. i am also in a much better mental state than i was two weeks ago, partially because i have been working on what i wrote about last entry. oh and i got a second job, which is a good thing sort of. more money is good, and the people seem nice, but we'll see how it goes. i finally got a mall job. it had to happen eventually. i will be working here. maybe i will have more clothes now. at my interview i had to pick out an outfit for my hypothetical anniversary with my hypothetical husband [my first thought after they threw this out: what if i were gay, you jerks? don't push a husband on me if i want a wife!]. i chose this dress and then i told them it looked like a couch. AND THEY STILL HIRED ME. hilarity. but yeah, life is way better now. yay.
i think that's all for now!

Dude!
I can believe they would only allow for *cough* husbands. LAME!
...but good on the extra monies!
This post made me laugh so hard!!! Good for your mom and yay for another job. It totally does look like a couch:) It makes me think of all the vegetarian holiday workers that HoneyBaked Ham would hire. Oh how fun it was to tease them.
