shade and sunshine.

so things are not going so awesome for team robyn at the moment. on my birthday eve i had to take my mom to the hospital for what we thought was a really bad staph infection. turns out it was actually mrsa. happy birthday. my poor mom. she has been through so much. i figured it out: it's every five years, because five years ago she had a tumor, and about five years before that she had another tumor, and now this time it's this. but we'll get through it like we always do. her doctor is positive and i'm hoping that it's more hype than bite, if you'll excuse the rhyme. but still. mega sigh. this week has just been a long week in general. we found out my cousin is getting a divorce, which is really sad because it totally came out of nowhere. they just bought a house! and dogs! sigh. and school kind of went by the wayside but whatever. i'm trying not to think about it all too much but you know. stuff.

on the bright side, however, i had an excellent time last weekend with excellent people. skateboarding and sailor moon yay! i still have to upload pictures, because i finally have pictures! i always forget to take pictures. but not this time! awesome.

so i watched another bollywood movie tonight. it was awesome but the last forty-five minutes were really sad, which i was not expecting. although i guess i should have, since the name of the movie was kal ho naa ho, or tomorrow may never come. i feel like i had more analysis on this fascinating subject but boring talk is boring so here is a video from the movie. i love how they totally embrace the gay subtext between the two male leads, even though it's not done in the best way ever. ilu bollywood. never change.
